I just turned my JR 378 on for the first time. The transmiter gave out an intermitant bleep and the message "STNT" flashed on. It did not seem to respond to any controls. I couldn't find any reference to this in the manual (Which is in Japanese!).

Any idea what this means?

The 378 is not sold yet in the US, so we don't have a manual for it as of yet. It sounds like you have you are in heli mode and you don't have the flight mode switch in normal or hover position. You either have it in stunt mode 1 or 2. Flip the flight mode switch back to normal mode and that should do it. I hope this helps!
