Has anyone seen the crash video, "Hammertime"? The video was of over 100 crashes, most all with the same 3-5 people. The opening has a red bipe, on fire, with rock music playing, and a lot of other crazy stuff. The video was produced, edited, and ready to go, then the guy that was doing all the editing ect. with me "just dissapeared" and I have heard nothing since. I have a feeling it's out there.
Just wondering..........

Actually I'd rather it didn't show up, then I'd have to persue legal and all that jazz.
It was a great video though.........

Well......I'll have to get into the old time machine, and set the dial back to 1989, and get the old "we are gonna teach ourselves to fly" gang back together, (there were 7 of us originally) then build (I built over 200 myself) and crash a few hundred planes/helis/autogyros. I'll get my wife to video tape the whole thing (20 hours of tapes) and then I find someone who isn't an S.O.B. snake MF'er to do the editing, and distribution.

It should be out sometime by the next millenium.........

Or....if I could hunt down the guy, and let him live long enough to let him tell me what he did with it, that would be a little quicker.
His name is *******, in case any of you ever have any dealings with this snake-like soul-less MF'er.

I take it that he stole your original tapes. Bummer. He does deserve some broken knee caps. Have you tried to track him down?

My suggestion is to go ahead and file a police report. Why track him down yourself when the cops will do it for you.

Well, he didn't "steal" the tapes, exactly.
We spent hours and hours editing the crashes, putting them on a master, and mixing music, (which I also recorded).
We started shopping it around, and Tower said if they could get "X" number of the tapes, they would agree to sell. So did a few other places. I even went sofar as to look into bulk quantity VHS tapes lables, ect.
Everything seemed to be ready to go, then he had some "personal problems" and the whole thing was put on hold while he "straightened them out". (I think he saw the dollar signs, and was "planning", not straightening.)
Anyhow, he wouldn't return calls, ect. and so I went to his office, and caught him there, and he made up some bullisht story, and I left thinking everything was good. He even gave me back all the original tapes.
A few days went by, and not hearing from him, I got a little suspicious, so we popped in a tape, and it was blank! Some had been used to re-record on, but 90% of all the content, (including some video of family stuff) was gone.
Went back to the office, and it was empty! No forwarding address, nothing. No one who was an aquaintence knew where he went. I found out his home address, and went there, nothing, he moved from there a day or two before.
At that point, I got pissed, and gave up (if ya kill 'em, ya gotta eat 'em)
Never heard from him again, though he did have my number, and knew where I lived.
Lesson learned I guess. Thought he was my friend, but I was wrong, and as I later found out, was not the only one who was taken for a ride. At least I didn't give him any money.

Dukester: file a police report?!? The cops around here won't even come out and investigate when someone steals your motorcycle!!!!!! Think: "Boss Hog and the boys"
