Status: offline 		hi all, i just got one of those temp guns , as the title say's a yokomo tn-1 . but i dont know how to use it cos the instructions are in chinese. can any1 that has got 1 or know's how to use these temp guns help me please ? very gratefull for any help , sonik

Status: offline 		According to some store online, that looks identical to the Duratrax and other temperature gauges. It looks like they've all just been re-branded all over. So, it's likely that the instructions for any of them that look like this:

will work.

Basically, it's good within an inch of the surface. I hold mine about 1/4" above the top of the head, which puts it about 1" above the base where the glowplug sits. Just press the button and it will capture the temperature. You can hold it down to get continuous temperature readings.

There's some mode on there that lets you choose what kind of material you're pointing it at, but the settings are incredibly vague (as far as I know, there's no definitive guide to what each material would come up as). In practice, I have seen little to no difference when changing that setting.
