The agwagon is pl-365. The original plans are for a 60" wingspan.

Hey RCAIRPLANENUT,
I've seen the other pictures of your Arrow elseware... I think here at RCUNIVERSE. Everyone I show them to is thoroughly impressed.... one of the pics makes it look like a speed boat until you notice the motor and wing. I orderred my plans a couple days ago. My friend and I are considering a modification. scale down from the drawings about 2/3, and do whatever we can to lighten then change propulsion over to twin electric ducted fan. He makes brushless motors mostly from scratch... check it out
I made this site just to show off his work, doesn't really sell them.

the only thing store bought was the stator

Hi All

Sounds like a good idea sderyck, I do not have much electric experience but if you are using high performance motors, props and batteries I’m sure it will be awesome. I always have to worry about my nitro engine quitting then having to get the plane on the lake; in fact I use an electric R/C Criss Craft boat for a retrieval ship. The original bulkhead construction of the arrow might limit ware you can place your battery pack for balance consideration so you may want to consider a modification for that.

Hi Gene!

Gene and I were building these at the same time, he got his done first, but I can safely say mine will fly last! It's a Krier-Kraft built from RCM plans, O.S. .61 FX, Perfect paint over white Solartex, weighs less than 8 lbs. Can't wait to fly it!

Dan, I may build another one and still beat you into the air. Sue agrees with me, you should show it off someplace before you fly it and get it full of engine snot and finger prints. Just too nice to get dirty. What A great job you did.
You forgot to mention, this is Dans first Scratch/Plans built plane and it had A lot of wire bending involved plus the incidence on the top wing was something new for A first time Bipe builder. An outstanding first plans build and A great job.
The plans were designed by Gordon Whitehead of the UK with some outsatnding features.
For someone looking for A Bipe to build this is one sweet plane if you can keep from dumb thumbing while showing off.
Gene, The Gray Bearded Old Poop

I've built their Stickit-IV, MANY TIMES, and the Cap-21 twice, soon to be a third

Here are the latest two... The Cap is in Balsa Heaven because of my dumb thumbs, see "One eyed pilots are dangerous" in the crash forum!

The StarDuster Too will be my next RCM model once my Sopwith is complete!

Done several over the years. In no particular order:

Fred Reese Double Trouble
A couple of Bridi Kaos'
Ken Willard BT-70
Ted White El Gringo
Don Dewey Wayfarer
George Smith T-170
George Thompson Yardstick
Jim Feldman Sportster 90

I'm not much of a picture taker, so the only ones I have pics of are the T-170 and the Sportster. Will try to get 'em to come up. The next RCM build is a Don Dewey/Lee Renaud Acro Star enlarged to 62". Have a couple of others to finish up first.

I have built several planes from RCM plans. I highly recommend using that bit of RC history. There is a wealth of knowledge buried in those designs.

The following are some of the kits I have built from the RCM plans list:

Das mini stik
Lil' toad
RCM Trainer 60
Dirty Birdy
Sun Fli
Kaos
Lil' mediator

I would encourage you to check out plans form other RC magazines as well. Model Aviation and Model Airplane News have some nice plans also.

I just ordered two sets of plans from MAN yesterday. The 83 inch ZLIN 526-AS and the 80 inch Sukhoi SU-29. I have used there plans A number of times. Only problem with them is they only send the plans in the rolled tubes and it cost you more to ship. I have also gotten plans from RCU for free and down loaded them onto disc and had them printed at Kinko's. There are A lot of places to find that special plane your looking for and I try to look at as many of them as I can, RCM and MAN just seem to have A great selection. Don't forget that the AMA site has them too, another good place to look.

I've built (and flown) several incarnations of the RCM Sky Knight (early 90's if I remember correctly) - 4 electric, 2 glo. Sorry, can't get to the pictures.
