When in the post editing area just click on "Click here to upload", located at the bottom left of the editing box, and follow the directions. It's pretty easy.

Well here it is most onto the Holidays..and six months later from when I last posted the photos of my favorite bird here. So am pronouncing it complete and just waiting for weather and air density to be favorable in the mile high country.

A point... the aileron interconnecting slave struts are just tempory and will be moved in towards the fuselage away from the I struts in the near future.

And NO it is not a GP...they only wish it was.. though I did use the cowl and wheel pants from theirs, gotta give the devil his due I suppose. This is from Avat three views and has a full 72 in. X 12 top wing and the lower is 68 in. X 12 with a full 3/4 inch larger stab and rudder.

Ok, William now for the 260 Duellist under the bed...Ho, Ho donchakno!! The Super Tigre .90's are all broke in and howlin. Had to install a couple of the 1.08 Asp carbs though.

Will try to post a picture here, if not will have to put it in the Gallery..

Happy Holidays All....

Hi GS,

The covering is believe it or not, Money Kote True Red with reg. Money Kote White applied with Commercial Windex and Ammonia D..as it comes from Auto Zone. The landing gear is bent up music wire and filled in with exacto foam board and then epoxy resined, fine sanded and then wiped with MEK and while still damp with MEK the M.Kote Red is applied and wrapped and the air is squeeged out with a soft clean white polishing cloth. The MEK softens and glues the M. Kote permanently into the epoxy resin. I also use it on my thin Plywood hatch covers like the forward office cover on this Pitts. If you work slow with the M.Kote and keep the temp. low it works ok.

And no I generally don't fly much in Colorado any more, as I have family in Wyo. I fly there or go on into Montana. For the club dues here I can have a couple of mighty fine vacations there. Larime, Rock Springs, Sheridan and Billings have super nice facilities and are great R/Cers and old, old friends. I flew twice this last year in Colorado, first times I've done that in 12 years..didnt realize it had been that long. Am thinkin seriously of moving back there. Now that I've retired.

Happy Holidays All !
