Yep just look at the thread below this one. It's a 60.9mph run and I have lots more to gain. I will break 65mph

Congratulations on your runs. Seen your other forum at savage central too.

See if this will help out to go faster...

Make your truck rear wheel drive by removing all front dog bones and front differential, let front wheels run freely. That will remove some weight off of your truck.

The day I pulled the 60mph run, both titanium center cvds broke. First went the rear one, fix it with a stock center dog bone then the front went out. With the amount of power my picco has and how light the truck is. It's almost impossible to drive RWD. Now if it was a nice warm summer day I'm sure it would be a different story as the road would be warm and the tires would stick better. In the cold the truck will spin around when it shifts gears

Im looking into purchasing a 3 speed tranny for the Savy X 4.6 RTR, and my question is what is the difference between...

HPI Racing 3-Speed Transmission Assembled Savage X http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSVW1&P=7

and

the actual plastic case the one for the X is much better designed and easier to work on and get into.

All savage parts are interchangeable. Your better off buying the 3spd off eBay. There way cheaper. Your also going to want to mod the tranny cause there weak in stock form. If you already have a two speed then you have all the parts needed to do the mod.
Here's the link, read it all the way thru.
