I can make those at work, I have a composite shop in my shop that makes repairs to the F18 super hornet, F35 lightening, EA18G growler. Oh yeah

Those plates look nice

Unfortunately these as i said are unobtainable. If you only knew the price of a roll of this material. You would need to change your trousers.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but yes I agree the average guy cant make them. I am not the average guy. I have a roll of carbon fiber, graphite, and kevlar sitting in my shop right now. Its all aircraft grade cause it used to fix Naval aircraft.

Skillet, I have a shop that does some of the same work except for F-16s and A-10s. You are correct it is not the average job to make the stuff. It also takes the right glue, presses, heat settings....on and on. Now I do do the work myself, I work very little in composites but correct, it is not the backyard hobby to make stuff out of rolls of carbon or kevlar and have it work correctly. But not only that..... I have been working aircraft for 18 years, since when did Boeing become a "Grade" instead of an aircraft company? Looks like the same stuff we use, sadly military stuff must be must be inferior to "Boeing Grade"

I'm curious to see how your gearing works out for you. My center diff flux XL with 12/46t is to tall for the set up. I run on 6s which is more than double or triple the power of our nitros. Either way it will be fun to watch. I certainly do hope you post a video.

Yes the battery and receiver are both in the back. It is the radio box from a E-Savage which was a 1/10 scale. Well it was actually the HB version which was called the E-Zilla I think.

I went though about 10 different radio boxes in many different locations and this one just seemed to fit perfect in between the massive LST shocks. To me it just made sense. It was in the bargain bin at my LHS when I lived in Japan so I gave it a shot and it was finally a winner. Here is a link to one on Tower hobbies. E-Savage Radio Box
