I have acquired an old Esquire. W.S. 50 inches.I plan to fly it with GG later this summer. Could any one supply me with some info about the history of this plane, such as designer, date of introduction or publication, where it originated, design weight, flying characteristics, etc. etc.
Thanks,
Bob.

I would have to pull my kit down to see the designer. It was offered by Midwest. I currently have a Little Esquire with 10 channel reeds flying. My Dad has a regular size with reeds and flies great with a OS 15 Mk III. I have another Little Esquire slated for GG or Mule Excapement. All fly very well, stable and slow enough to remember what button to push!!! Strangely I build one several years ago with OS 15 and Futaba radio. Silk and dope. Did not fly as well as my Dad's. He told me to add weight. I added around 16 oz and it flew great!!

Good Luck!!
