I purchased an Edge 540p from OMP probably just over a year ago, and have only now got around to putting it together. It was purchased under the name Philip Tarpley fyi.

My question is that there is supposed to be two 3/8x1x11.5 balsa pieces in the "Small Parts" section. Instead, I got two 3/8x15/16x9.5 sticks. So, basically they were 1/16" too "thin"(not wide enough), and 2" short in length.

I know I purchased this long enough ago to where you might not be able to do anything. But, I just purchased Aeroflight Pro from you, so if it hasn't left the warehouse yet, you could stick those wood pieces in with it?

AFP is scheduled to arrive on UPS today, so I guess it missed the boat.

Status: offline 		That size wood is correct for the old stick built edge fuselage. The instructions sometimes lag the plans and kit updates as they evolve. Once you begin building the fuse, you will see how they fit in place.

Status: offline 		But, With only two 9.5" pieces, I wouldn't have enough to complete the kit as I need "extra 3/18x1" balsa for the landing gear and for the (lower and upper) front LE of the fuse. It takes 10" apiece just for balsa above the hardwood engine mounts. This is all according to the printed plans.

I see what you are saying now. The width of those two pieces is not critical as they only double up the engine beams and tie this into the wing saddle. But they should extend all the way to the wing saddle and sould be roughly 10" long. Drop me an email to the OMP site with your address and we'll get two new pieces mailed asap.
