Hah, that's funny! Actually Dayton is the big city and Beavercreek is one of the surrounding suburbs (towns). Don't know they call it Beavercreek though, it should be called "GroundHogtown"! I've never seen so many groundhogs in all my life this year. My dogs have killed five already this year, three in the backyard alone.

Oh yea, we'll replace that gear also!

I just saw this thread and remembered I had sent my gear in but not seen any return. Did you get the ones I sent in for replacement?
Later,,,Matt

I just wanted to update things and give a big "thanks" to Ray at Tetherite. I decided that I wanted to try a pair of the longer "Krazy Legs" since I was having so much trouble with the grass at our field. Ray got them to me in record time.

Anyone who is having the same kind of trouble with long grass should really look into getting a set of these gear. The number is TPP 15 and what a difference. O.K. the airplane sits way up in the air and doesn't have that nice stance that the stock gear gives you. It's a little harder to turn quickly on the ground because of the stance, but other than that, they're great. My plane is off the ground in about five feet now as opposed to maybe not even getting off the ground. Tons of prop clearance. I no longer have to spend 15 minutes cleaning all the cut grass and grass juice off the bottom of the plane. My prop is no longer a green color at the end of a flying session.

I give this longer gear two thumbs up.

Mike/Dion, thanks for the very generous offer to replace my "springy" gear that I got from you guys with the newer, less flexible gear. I just don't feel right doing that. It wasn't your fault, just one of those things. OMP did nothing wrong, and I don't feel that your company should bear the cost of replacing my gear. Just the fact that you offered to do it free of charge speaks volumes about you guys. A customer can't ask for more than that.

Thanks again,

Vince
