Hey Jim,
That is a great looking DR-1. Is it kit, plans, scratch? Details about the cover job. I am working on finishing up a BUSA 1/4 scale Dr-1. Sig Koverall and latex paint are in its future, but not sure about the framework sealing and fabric weave fill yet. I had planed on using Nitrate Dope but the wife has developed severe breathing problems and the fumes are out! Any advice on the sealing and weave fill? I grew up with silk and dope so this is like having a child leave home, but the wife is much more important.

Great looking planes!

JEB

Here's my almost completed 4*. I'm thinking about adding wheel pants and painting the landing gear.

This is my Midwest Extra 300S. Mainly Monokote gold with some plum trim. The bright spots are chrome. I spent almost 4 rolls of covering.
The belly is white and the underwing has a three fluo color scheme.

Tartago,

NICE! I've rarely seen gold as a main color, excellent job!!
Give us a shot of the belly when you can.

Here's a couple of mine, GP Skybolt, T/F Hot Canary, & Sig Astro Hog.
These were all done with Monocote. That Skybolt took about 2 weeks to get every corner to line up.

Here is my first covering job.
I had been dreading this for a couple of years, it was easier than I thought it would be.
I covered this old Thunder Tiger Stik 40 in the Jagermeister color scheme, my brothers band "Sixth Floor" is sponsored
by them.
The Lettering is done in vinyl that I cut using my Roland Vinyl cutter.
It has a Jagermeister "blinkie" on the bottom for a strobe light.
It has been flown only once.
