Count me in for the show. I have to get Ed to start flying his 40% again it's been on the shelf for 8 months now.
I agree about the new IMACer's but there is nothing to say about it. I will be handing out flyers every where I go for Shawnee.
Later
Kevin

Hey guys,

I haven't checked Dan's site bit I am supposing that you must be referring to the contest links when you indicate that the Delaware Water Gap IMAC is no longer listed. For what it's worth, I did the piece that Dan has on the main page that shows all NE Region contests and I included the DE Water Gap contest so it is listed there anyway. If anyone wants a copy, I can send it out to you so you can print it out for your wall if you like.

I just sent Dan an updated version today that includes the Tri-County contest later in September so we have 5 more contests in the NE plus the one in Virginia west of DC if you are able to make it- that would be nine contests within a few hours drive for most all of us this year and that's great.

I'll see you at Dan's contest in Milford and at the CAPI after that. I'm CD'ing the CAPI this year so I am looking forward to having you all come- Sorry, Mark, that you can't make it. For those who are coming, please pre-register if you haven't done so already- it really helps with the setup.

Dave

The Shawnee contest was listed then removed about a month ago. Pete's contest was listed 3 weeks ago . seem's funny you just sent an update.
I'll see you sunday in milford. Did you get my form for the Capi? Looking forward to another good weekend in Maryland. maybe a few new stunts for the show....

Kevin,

Yep- I received your registration and was very glad to see it.

Just checked Dan's site and the Shawnee contest is still listed on the home page- the piece that I was referring to in my earlier post is the one with all of the contests listed on the home page and what I have passed out at contests earlier this year. It is a jpeg so, at the very least, there has continuosly been a listing for the Shawnee contest. Assuming all goes as planned, I am planning on attending that contest.

See Ya

Dave

On the list yes but not in the event report. just an observation.
I flew my routine for the show today all was good till I did a harrier down to the runway and missed my spot to pull up. Looks like I have to buy Paul a new prop. not to mention the repair work on the plane.

Were you flying Paul's plane or just using his prop.

Much damage?

Pauls prop my plane. landing gear ripped out, holes in sides of fuse and holes in the wings. should be fixed by next week. finished my rolling circles then was praticing elevators to landing just missed. lost the wind and was a little to low on the throttle. It was really funny because I didn't care at all. New plane should be here soon.
Kevin
PS: by the way paul I have to order you a new prop.

Guys,
I know this has been gone over several times, but you have to check www.mini-iac.com for the "Official" schedule. Everything else is just for reference only. All registered contests are on the schedule at that site.
Thanks

Kevin,
Again - please check www.mini-iac.com for offical results. If there are errors on that page then please let me know. Typos can happen, but we list the full standings there.
Regards,
RickP

I'm in for the Summer Sizzel , flying Sportsman , 1st contest for 2004 as the TOC Maryland washed me out .

I will be staying over, but have not booked any room yet.

Which is the hotel of choice for this contest ??

Steve Beach

Sorry Steve, I forgot to answer your question the other day.

If you go to Dan's site ( http://home.hvc.rr.com/aerobatix/ ) then click: Contests > Summer Sizzle > Directions & Lodging, you will see the close and reccomended hotels and camping areas.

See ya there...........Mark

Guys,

Ever wonder if perhaps the water gap contest isnt listed because there were some harsh words from the CD of the water gap event to the CD and the line boss of the summer sizzle? http://home.hvc.rr.com/aerobatix is a private site on private webspace, just a reference. No need to throw a fit about something not being listed.
