nitrost, i would stop now because youre going to get kicked down and p1ssed on. Coming from a very experienced rc hobbyist, you need to get laid and learn to play a sport.

And besides, the Smartech guys have the hardest job out of any of us, they not only have to install the parts they buy but engineer a way to make them work. Just because you think the car you're mommy bought you is better cuz it has OFNA plastered all over it, you're wrong. After reading your previous posts, you really need to just stop. Just leave. Put the screwdriver down before you hurt yourself and review those Sesame Street tapes buddy. Go back to fingerpainting.

I have lots of respect for these guys, but none for ignorant little sh1ts like you.

Hi Guys
Ive had a winner sport for about a year and its starting to need some heavy TLC. Any of the uk guys know any uk parts suppliers? Ive found bits from other nitros such as HPI and NitroTek but if i can get smt parts would be nice.
Its a good price nitro car, with very bad radio gear and servos, well worth investing in some s9400 futaba servos you will save money in the long run

Thanks for the vote of confidence armedtotheteeth and everyone else...

Nice to see even though Id be the first to admit the Smartech isnt the best, its a good beginners car and can be some serious fun with a tweak here and there. People who bag them without knowing what they are like, are adding nothing to the hobby in general IMO.

OK...upgraded diffs...no idea. Youd have to 'engineer' something to fit perhaps. Ive had no issues with mine, and im putting a fair bit of power through them. If youve had issues, id suggest finding the root of the problem rather than fitting another set and doing the same. Make sure they are well greased, and strongly suggest investing in ballracing both the diffs (replace the bushes).

As for parts supplies in the UK, again, no idea, but I will say Excelhobby (www.excelhobby.com) delivered spares here to Oz in less than a week, and Id guess it would be approx the same to the UK (from the US). Id recommend them as well as Raidentech who took a bit longer, but seemed a more professional outfit.

Cooling head, Im guessing that any .15 head would fit, but take the engine down to you LHS and get them to supply one that fits. Doesnt have to be a Smartech head if other types fit.

I also have a scanned in manual for the Winner 3, so if anyone can host the file or suggest somewhere I can upload it to so that others can download it (its approx 1.6Mb). Im not going to e-mail it to everyone as it`ll take too long on my dial-up connection (dont ask ).Dont think im allowed to post it here (can mods confirm this?).

Cheers

lmao youv'e still go dial up. Anyway

Picture.
I think 1.6mb is too big to use image shack, but what did you save the picture as? .bmp or .jpeg? If youv'e got adobe photoshop - open the picture in it and then save the picture as .jpeg on quality 8.

Differentials
I think its the little cog cog pic thats shearing. Beacuse i was give my buggy a good thrashing and then it started to make these grinding sort of noises. So i took off the shell and ran it but when i puches the throttle to get the buggy moving the centre drive shaft was moving rapidly but the buggy was hardly moving. O btw when i was thrashing it, i had it in front wheel drive (i lost the pin in rear drive shaft )

Servos
where would i be able to get some of them servos? ive looked on radientek and hobbycraft but i couldnt find them.

Ryan.

p.s. chocyman, if you havnt got msn, have u got yahoo instant messenger?
p.s.s. Ive just seen u can upload a file into your posts ^_^ so use that chocyman

Hi Ryan
Sounds like you've gone through the teeth on the dog bones mate, my winner sport eats em

Not sure who replying to who's topic here, but im not against these cars, like i said ive had mine over a year, its just a night mare to get major parts for it

100% sure in saying replace the radio gear and servos, when i 1st run the car (new batterys) the receiver got stuck on full throttle 1min later the car hit a curb and was in bits
repaired it and you guessed it, the same thing happened

Ive got a Manuel i can post up if you want, its very funny to read as its got lots of mistakes in it, spelling Ect..

Cheers
Andy
