i got a question im saving up for a pede from the tower the ultimate combo thing for 200$. but you all have been swaying my thoughts .whats the difference between a stock rusty and a stock pede? if there is not to much i might get rusty and change it abit. i wanyt a crawler also i forget ur name mcr or somethin... o well ...

this all depends on what your truly after.true the rusty does handle better but if your just bashing the pede maybe a better comprimize.the rusty doesn't really have enough ground clearence to really bash and running in grass really heats them up quick.sure you could just put bigger tires on it for more clearence but then your defeating the hole purpose of getting it in the first place, handling. soooo track or street, rusty - jumping and general bashing, pede.

the stock pede is taller, duh, and slower. I got mine up to 38 MPH w/ a 15Tx3 motor.... If I were you I'd go with the rusty.... better overall, trust me

in stock form the pede is alittle faster because it has alittle higher gear ratio because of the larger tires.you must of been running many cells to get 38 mph out of a 15 turn motor.

actually, I was running a 7.2 Volt battery pack... 6 cell 2400... and it has been tested, the Rustler is faster then the Pede and the Bandit is faster then both...

yep you got me there.
i got the speeds mixed up but its only 1 mph between the rusty and pede.so i'd call it a draw.
as far as 38 mph on 6 cells with a 15t motor, wow.most people running the novak brushless ss5800 on 6 cells are only getting that.personaly i have a d5 14t in my pede and although i never timed it i'd guess top speed is in the low 30's running sanyo 3000hv's geared 14/87.
