After spending two hours in my local LHS carefully examining both the Revo and the LST, I decided to purchase the LST. What impressed me most was the layout of the LST and its chassis. It definitely appears that a lot of thought went into its design. It also appears well engineered and well built. I was initially leaning toward the Revo because of the videos I saw on the Traxxas web site. After seeing it in person, I was a little turned off by the angled mounting of the (small) engine. And, the internals seemed more like that of a luxury car than a truck. I didn't want to be messing with a computer driven transmission, electronic starts and other nonsense. I wasn't impressed with the radio either. Plus, it just wasn't big and obnoxious enough for me. I really didn't want a red LST and I wanted to do some more research, so I passed on getting |
