I'd like to report some emotional damage related to my LST.

I'm still overseas on a business trip and won't be able to pick up my LST until this weekend, assuming my LHS hasn't sold it to some knucklehead offering a few extra bucks.

You guys are sounding like you're having a great time, can't wait to join in on the fun.

Just picked one up at my LHS and out of the box it is missing the axle pin and set screw from the cvd. Now to wait to run my new truck. Wish I hadnt sold my MGT today, now I cant race Guess it will give me time to take out my mach 26 and install my RB in there.

Why is it every other part for the LST is available except the ones I need? Like Axles and Drive shafts. After taking things apart to take out the left drive shaft due to a broken axle. The drive shaft is missing one of its ears. When are the rest of these parts going to be available?

Well put me down for a broke axle. Went to race tonight, I was smoking everything there. I was on pace to break track record by a pretty goog amount, then on a not so bad landing the right front wheel came off, broke axle. The truck was super fast, makes my sirio .18 maxx look stupid. Using stock tires turn in was alittle crappy, but with my maxx bowties the truck was dialed. Hope they get this axle problem that looks like its starting to form taken care of.

Problem #2 and I havent even started the thing up yet

I was removing my engine and one of the hedx bolts broke right off. I guess they over tightened it trying to be extra sure that it was tight

I now have no truck until I get a new engine mount as there is no way this broken screw is coming off. Wasnt even alot of pressure I was using an allen key and turning with my fingers.

I hope I didnt make a mistake selling my MGT.

Now to call tech support again and get another part for sometime next week if they even have one available

No Trophy race for me this weekend, that sucks big time

It broke off because they used the equivelant of red loctite on the motor mount screws. You should heat it up first then grab a good pair of vice-grips and you should be able to get it out. -c666187

Yes I was using bowties when it broke, but I dont think that had much to do with it. It broke on a landing and the bowties are much lighter and smaller than the stockers.

I dunno man. Take a look at the inside of an LST wheel sometime. The off set is way different than the other wheels out there. If he was using a velocity wheel with the "wide" offset, its gonna be real wide on this truck. Im sure those of you that remember the ghetto rides that people used to put ultra small wide offset wheels on their cadillacs, and blazers, youd notice the axles bent all to hell. Not saying that it should break like that, im just saying that theres gonna be added stress from it. Either way, i hope they replace it for you guys. I havent broken anything yet (knock on wood). Well just that stupid clutch shoe spring.

hello newbe here, well not new to nitro rc but the forums. I just got my LST broken in and was running on brand new 4 aa batts and was kicking it up a little and the radio glitch ed and I slammed a pole doing about 40 mph. took out the left front upper and lower a-arms and broke the shock shaft right at the lower mount. man I was pissed.
I know never to use 4.8 volts again. only a good 1100 plus 6 volt pack. this thing is a voltage sucker from H*ll. but its is so sweet, I love this truck its just so amazing. now i just need to go find some replacement parts if any of my lhs have any. other then me breaking it this truck is super easy to tune and is solid as a rock.
well I just wanted to toss in my 2 cents.
