Hello, LST fans
I have enjoyed your postings on the lst. I desided to get me one also!
I have played with a E-Maxx long enough now. I have only ran about a half gallon now and the only thing so far, is it is a must to up-grade the battery pack to a 5 cell rechargeable.

I have been a little rough with it and nothing broke yet. Man this thing will stand up!! and GO!!

Well, after a great day of bashing and racing a bit, the LST is considered a hit at my local track. Our local track "pro" (Western Canadian Gas Truck Champ many years running) gives it a "Two Thumbs UP!"

After taking a LOT of abuse, and I mean ALOT, this truck stood up better than ANYTHING I have ever seen!

Now my damage report...

- Left rear BallStud pulled out of Arm. After the tumble it took, no suprise.
- Right Rear CVD grub screw backed out and was lost. I knew to check them but ...
- 1 1/2" horizontal crack in Fuel Tank above centerline on right side. Slow leak but enough to make a mess.

Over all, not bad.

This truck is awesome! Now to get my LHS's to carry parts!

I took mine to another track yesterday. Much bigger track and bigger jumps. Also very rough and unconsistant. Truck held up great, after many 15 foot jumps and tumbles, bad landings, and bad driving all I did was break a shock shaft from slamming it into a tube on a bad high landing. No more broken axles yet either, truck runs and handles awsome everyone there was inpressed.

shizzle man I cant believe you managed to break a shock shaft??

I took my truck out to my local track today for some racing and WON.

The track was really rough today and it took all the bumps no problem. I even took a pretty big tumble after our big table top jump and broke nothing. Held my breath though. Beat out Savage, GT, and yes a REVO that broke during qualifier, broke the tie rod end(very common) and the eyelid of the shock??? interesting So far so good with this truck.

Got some video from this other guy, so hopefully I can get it and post it on this forum here, real soon.

Truck has the 'creeps'. It always wants to creep forward no matter how low the idle. I have one broken clutch spring out of the three. Is just the one shoe making contact enough to make it do this. Is it OK to run it this way until replaced.

If it creeps it'll wear down the remaining clutch shoes (quickly!) and you'll just have to replace everything at once then.

Glad to hear at least some people's trucks are performing well. I bet Losi's gonna have one helluva' talk with Dynamite soon.

Well, it will cause you to stall off throttle, and have a really high idle. Not good for the other 2 clutche shoes. It can cause over heating, but its highly unlikely on this motor. I have never seen this motor get hot. But no, i wouldnt run that way. Go buy some clutch springs, install them, and keep the replacements Losi sends out for backup.

this motor will run hot!!!.first day at the track..it was very..very muddy..& she came around 350...WOW!!!(around the 8th tank.p&s were still in perfect condition)All the mt were running in the 300 range..ran last week with a little less mud..was running around 230 to 250...with out touching the needle's.

I also lost all three clutch springs..dont care to much about it.I will put some hot 1/8th scale clutch set up in her...this truck is just AWESOME!!!!

I hope the cvd's are the only drive line problem's the lst will have..would like to put a .26 outlaw in ..or a hot r&b..& twist the sh%t out her

Had mine out to the local track this weekend. Great truck.
If it wasn't for bad driving, I don't think I would have broken anything.
Durring a quick round of practice between the last heat and main, hit a hard part of the boards at ull clip.
I broke the left rear carrier, where the Left rear BallStud screws into the arm.
I was pushing it too hard and it pushed

Just wanted to provide an update.
