Would you believe that my body is worse? It's held together now with shoo goo and that's about it. Gotta say that stock body is some thin a$$ lexan. Maybe for the weight savings? And once that tailgate comes off it's even lighter! But it's to be expected when it's put on top of a nearly 13lb truck!

Cheers...

My stock body looks almost identical to that.

I had a problem with the screws constantly coming out of the knuckles, I swapped them for some Losi 4-40 7/8" hex head screws with lock nuts. They won't come out now!

My body looks identical to that also. Must be the same hit and run driver that ran into me I broke my third black axle today. I hope a better axle comes out soon. Also broke a second set of Losi clutch springs (all three). Time for alternatives. No more Losi clutch springs for me. Also stripped the HI spur gear after a rock got in there and chewed it to hell first. Me want better cover.

Take a look at what this guy did to solve the spur gear cover problem.

I was doing some donuts on the dirt yesterday and broke both passenger side CVDs. No jumps or anything. Very bummed...

I believe thats either a Picco .26 engine case, or a wasp .26 case. That cooling head is a Nova.

That's pretty cool with the carbon fiber and all. I too got a rock in there and nearly destroyed my pinion gear. After removing the rock from the spur, I took a file and straightened the teeth on the pinion a bit so that they could still grab a little, then I readjusted the gear mesh. My new gears should be in stock around the middle of next week.

Is Losi coming out with a new and improved cover? Also if you look at the bottom of the cover, there is a hole for debris to come out of. That hole is perfectly lined up so that roost from the front right tire shoots straight into the 2-speed assembly. I think that this is a majority of the reason people are having problems with the gears stripping out. I ended up putting a piece of tape over the hole to help keep debris out.

I broke the passenger side rear CVD yesterday. But it was a bad landing and to much throttle. Heard that baby snap!
