Status: offline 		The 1st annual River City R/C Skydive Rally is now in the books.
I had a great time and didn't even finish in the top three. To tell the truth I'm not sure where I finished, but I'm sure the details will be out soon.

This is a great flying site and a perfect place for R/C Skydiving.

Thanks to all of the clubs members for giving up their flying time and allowing us use the field to have the rally, hope we can do it again.

Lets hear some comments from the other attendee's

Status: offline 		Good times and good people. We really appreciate the SIRC club hospitality. Great place to fly with the wind down the runway most of the time. This was probably the best attended event we've had so far. Hope to make the 2nd Annual Rally in 2005.

Status: offline 		DITTO to all the above comments!! My first skydiver rally was a very enjoyable experience. Met some great folks and had a ball jumping for two days. A special thanks to my friend Paul Reiner for providing the jump plane so I wouldn't have to drag my jump plane trailer for the 9 hr trip to Indiana--and back!

Hats off the the SIRC club members for hosting the event and to Will for doing such a great job organizing the Rally.

Next time I won't bring the Alabama heat and humidity with me!!!

What info are you looking for, do you have a skydiver, or you looking to get into it.
The event runs all day Saturday and and about half the day Sunday.
It is held at the AMA Flying sitein Muncie IN, you must be a AMA member to participate, anyone can come to watch.

the skydiver is carried aloft by plane then released.
points are given for the free fall, then for completing a 360 deg. turn to the right, a 360 deg. turn to the left, and for the landing, ( a 30 ft. circle with different scoring zones)

The guy you see (2nd from left) is Faron Trosper. He is from Mooresville, flies at my field with Dick Northam and myself. My son is the small guy, Craig. He is 10 yrs old, flies skydivers pretty well and is a good airplane pilot.

My name is indeed Jim, the skydiver name is "Robert".
