I just bought one off ebay. Do i need longer screws , and do they take a beating.

I can't tell much from that pic, but I would think you would need longer. The chassis does not appear to have any cnc holes for the heads so you will most likely not have enough thread to do much with.

that would be the top view, and the bulkhead screw holes look like they are coutersunk.

if not you can always do it yourself. check HD/lowes for a coutersink you can chuck in a drill

no i'm pretty sure it's just a knock off of the spider chassis.i believe this has came up at the traxxas forums before.
