My plane has separate elevators halves. I have a 5645 servo for each half. They are on different channels and mixed together. One servo is reversed on the radio. I have heard/read that digital servos should not be reversed, is that true??? I do notice that one elevator half seems to move slower toward the end of the movement. There is no binding or slop in the linkage. I don't feel like spending $150 for the programmer.

rdflier,
I have a similar setup on my 35% Giles, using 2 5645's. I reversed one of mine using the programmer, this is a very handy tool. If you will be using hitec digitals for future projects, I highly recommend the programmer. Reversing digital servo's is fine, you can't use the Jomar type servo reverser. Reversing must be done with the radio or with the hitec programmer. I don't know why one elevator half would move slower, mine move at the same rate. I am using 5 cell packs in my plane. Do you notice this on any other control surfaces? E-mail hitec perhaps you can send your servo in and have it reversed.

rcflier_gi- You will need to have one of the servos reversed with the programmer. Contact your local hobby shop as we have sold many under a special offer to many shops just for this situation. You can also send it into us and we will reverse it for you at no charge.

Mike.
