It's always a good night when nothing breaks. I used to run Zs three days a week. Now, it has been the 1/8th scale buggy once or twice a week but it involves more prep time, more travel time, and is more expensive (track time, 30% fuel, and so on)--that is when I am not traveling out-of-state to run Zs. Next trips: Utah in September and California in October.

Add them up...

1 - 1/4 WCM,
1 - 1/5 FG,
1 - 1/8 Mugen,
3 - 1/10 Tamiya Losi Traxxas,
1 - 1/12 Yokomo,
2 - 1/16 Kyosho,
3 - 1/18 Xray / Losi / Associated (Yes, I own an AE too),
1 - 1/20 Venom,
1 - 1/24 ABC
36 - 1/28 Kyosho Iwaver Radio Shack, plus a few other smaller or off-beat RCs.
1 more 1/18th (Duratraxx) if I purchase it tonight.
50+

I simply started collecting types then different scale sizes. Later, particular models for different tracks and racing conditions. Consequently, I CAN compare a lot of RCs myself.

My RC18T has the CM2080 in it, but I haven't driven it yet. Tonight I removed the JR RS300 I originally put in RC18T and stuck it in the Duratrax Mini-Quake. Then I took the Mini-Quake for a short test run. The Mini-Quake simply has more room to mount such a large synthesized receiver. Here are a couple of new photos.

Although I didn't take the following photo of the Boulder City track, it is linked from http://www.vegasrc.com
More race information can also be found on that website as well.

Hey guys,

Been in Vegas for about 4 years now and have raced off and on at the local tracks. Been looking to race again and I've been out to the Finish Line track back when Dansey's owned it. I see that Finish Lines webpage is down and I'm wondering if their still racing out there. I run electric 10th scale buggy and onroad and just wanna run the bugs outta my setups. I hear Finish Line has an onroad track now as well. If their still open do they have track fees for open practice or is it just on race days that it's open?

I have no idea since I've just heard rumors and haven't spoken to the owner directly. There usually is a race over the holidays, but I'm doing some out-of-state racing this coming weekend.

I can't tell you for sure one way or another. As I wrote earlier, I haven't spoken to the owner directly. He may just finish up the track this weekend and hold a race on Monday Labor Day.
