Ok Mustang lovers, just returned from five glorious days at the Gathering Of Mustangs in Columbus, Ohio at Rickenbacker field. I was asked to display both of my P-51 Mustangs honoring the Tuskegee Airmen. The Fiber Classic's was on display in the tent where the Airmen was giving autographs and the Ohio Chapter was selling Tuskegee memobilia. They sold out of just about everything they had! All the proceeds go to their scholarship fund. A couple of the photos show some of the airmen signing the Mustang used on the trailer that took the airmen on a parade in front of the grand stand. The other photo depicts Lee Archer signing my Fiberclassics model of his WWII D model mustang "Ina the Macon Belle". This to me is a modeler's dream come true. To be able to share the model with the pilot of the full scale plane that you modeled is priceless. Mr Archer is the only know Ace of the Tuskegee Airmen. The Tuskegee Airmen shaking hands with me is Roscoe Brown, he was credited with three kills and was credited for shooting down the first ME262 in the 15th air force and two other ME262's were destroyed by two other pilots that day under his command. They recieved a uint sitation for that days flying. He is in his early 90s and is still teaching colledge courses as a proffessor.
Fair skies

Gary it was nice to see your plane on display last weekend in Ohio. You did an excellent job of building it. I think the entire GML even was AWSOME. The best I've ever been to. It was truely a once in a life time event.

I was just going to tell you to give Darrell a call...LOL. Sierra supplies me with all my gear systems. I like his airlines the best. He has the quick disconnects, air valves, cylinders ,"T"s, etc. One stop shopping.

BEAUTIFUL MODELS ,IS THERE A FORUM FOR FLYING THESE ? ARE THESE ALL HANGER QUEENS,OR HAS ANYBODY GOT SOME REAL EXPERIENCE FLYING ONE . I MEAN THAT WITH ALL DUE RESPECT , I CAN SEE HOW MUCH EFFORT WAS PUT IN TO REPILCATING THE ORIGINAL,BUT IF DOESN'T FLY ,I WOULD RATHER USE IT FOR FIRE WOOD.I'M NOT TRYING TO STIR ANYBODY,I JUST WANT TO DISCUSS THE FLYING ASPECTS,SO PLEASE RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO TORPEDO ME WITH ABUSE ,I HAVE COMPETED IN SCALE MASTERS COMPETITION FOR YEARS ,SO I HAVE HAD MY SHARE OF HUMILIATION.

THANK YOU
