SO SORRY it took SOOOOO Long!

here they are (all 3 of them!)

hope you all enjoy.

this little plane was a friggin ROCKET!

Here is a nose on pic of the Mustang as it sits on a glass...

Here is a 3/4 front view on the glass with relation to the flash 4 radio.....

And lastly here is a view looking down into the canopy It was a TIGHT fit! Hs-55 was for throttle and the 81 was for elevator. Another 81 built into the wing was used for aileron control..

thanks, you all are an inspiration!

Man, that Mustang is bad-a**!! I've been wanting to convert a
Guillows Corsair to glow and now I see that it can be done! Do
you think a .074 would be a tad much? I just got a Thunder Tiger
.074 that just needs a frame to go in! I love the way the Guillows
kits go together and would like the challenge of the Corsair. What
kind of covering did you go with? Can these kits be balsa sheeted? Nice job and keep 'em in the air!

Lone Ranger,

Very nice looking Job! How much does it weigh ready to fly? Don't Blink!

And what is that spinner set up? I've been looking for 1/2a spinners. Anybody have any recomendations? Good flying..,.

whstlngdeath, I would suggest the Big Corsair they make and I think a .074 would be realy pretty close to the right power plant! Would be a real over kill for the smaller plane though!

I sheeted my plane with 1/64" balsa- the fuse and wing.......... Do the botom of the wing first (the small kits are flat bottom wing, dont know about the larger kit (I am thinking that will be my next project) make sure the wing is flat when ya do it! And have ALL linkages, and aireron controll in the wing and ready to go BEFORE you sheet.
Ummmmm You could do retracts in the bigger corsair, and that would be pretty neat............

Jeff Leavitt, It dont weigh much it is a verticle plane. I could let it go straight up (AKA (Launch it)) and It would be ok...

the spinner I used was just a "snap on" spinner but I believe Du-Bro is making some realy cool 1/2a solid metal spinners....

Any how it is a realy neat plane I used just regular old monokote to cover it with I was trying to find ekono kote but could'nt.

thanks guys.....

L.R.
