Cool! It really doesn't look to bad. I look forward to seeing it revived. Good luck.

Wait a minute!

Just had a brain fart. After reading through the entire thread, I'm going to steal the idea on post #295. Since the plane is already stripped of covering and reassembled, I'm going to cut the turtle deck and make it taper as it goes aft. Then I'm gonna build up a fin. The main reason I'm going to do this is asthetic, (looks more like a normal plane) and it'll probably flatspin better.

Here's the idea (from AdrianM).

ooh, now that's gonna look cool, post pics...

looks like you mend job is coming right along, just watch that taper near the back of the vert stab, you have those guywires that support the horiz stab that you will have to deal with. You could probably use some small carbon fiber on the top and keep the wire on the bottom. I would've tapered it down too if I had seen that thread. If you decide not to just two tone it, it turned out looking pretty good. It's pretty easy to cover.

Been workin' hard! My teachers began to panic as spring break slowly crept up, and I was buried under homework, but I wrote myself out of the pile. Anyways, been pretty busy lately, but I should have a finished airframe by the end of the week.

As for the wires, I'll just build new mounts...

Wide open on both directions and fly it like you stole it.

I had to dig a little to find this thread. I got reeeaaally lazy [I'm only16], but I have a finished plane. Flying season is here, so I plan to get this bird in the air as soon as a replacement piston and sleeve (for the Evolution 100) arrives from Horizon. Apparently, they're on backorder .

As for covering, I guess I'll just use what's lying around as this gal will be my beater.

Didn't know ASP made a 1.80. That's a lot of enginehope it stays attached to the fire wall. Good luck.

At last I have finally got to fly my big Harrier with the ASP 180 fs engine. It swings a MenzS 18-6 at 9000 rpm (8800 rpm for flying) and it is totally great. I think it is not too much engine and the plane flies great. Hovers at below half stick and pulls out instantly (of course[)]) After I get bored with this engine I will try my New ASP XL 120 AR twostroke to compare, and finally if I still have the plane ( sudden expiration date you know ) I will mount my MVVS 26cc gas engine with tunedpipe. I have lots of fun coming

I wish we could get more Seagull flyers involved, because I am really looking forward to flying this bird, but need all of the input that I can get. I'm still fairly new to flying r/c planes, but have a total interest into this planme for some reasoooon. I think it is going to be a BLAST to fly if I get enouigh input from others.
