Speed Limit Combat 75mph (JSO)
any plane/engine (.40 max)
60'x.018 lines handle to center of plane
4 rounds
10 points first in air, pilots start their own engines.
100 pts. airborne at 1 min
100 pts. airborne at 2:30 min
100 pts. airborne at 4:00 min
-50 pts. if not airborne at end of 5 min. match.
100 pts. per streamer cut
100 pts. for first string cut only.

These were the rules last year and I assume they will be the same this year. Two pilots from Tulsa will be there. Heard rumors Mike Wilcox, former WC might be there. Several Pilots from Wichita, a couple from Kansas City Area and probably 3 or 4 from OKC. This contest has always been fun and well run. Great free food Saturday nite by the Wichihawks.

regards

If my pitman throws the plane in the air at 4:59 does it count ? does the engine have to be running?

you'll have to ask whoever is running the event this year.
My guess is the engine has to be running.
