It sounds like you have good thottle manegment. Most of the flight I guess I fly at 1/2 thottle. But I fly at full thottle on my vertical up lines. Put 10 more flights on mine today.A little windy cross wind at 15mph. But I sure did have a blast.

About a half-dozen so far......only one day of flying so far.....hard to keep the tx. Everyone wants to fly it! And yes, I do like it - once I got used to it. Have a lot of elevator flutter if I bump the throttle too much . I'm surprised at how stable it is. Only broke one prop - and I wasn't flying it at the time! APC of course

I find it fasinating that some fella took a stroll thru Tys R Us and Home Depot and made a plane, a whiffle ball bat and some corplast! Thats funny.... I am amazed at the contents of the kit. All good stuff so far. Great instructions! I wish the instructions were as good for my Bergen Intrepid. This is my first "full build" plane. I am liking it so far.

Has anyone used Monocote on these planes?

Any problems with the included fuel tank and the YS engine?

Please post pics of finished 4-D's.....

Eddy

Actually I think it was KB TOYS.
Ultracote/Oracover is the covering of choice. It's much more forgiving and will take impacts.
The TufFlight included Hayes 8 oz tank has worked well with my YS .63 all last summer.

Some customer pics posted here.

Hello All

I got a problem........... I was wondering if someone had the manual online somewhere Tufflight doesnt have it on there site. My Dog seems to like to chew on manuals, he chewed up my harrier 3d manual also.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey nice job Jerry.I really like your trim design. It sure shows you put in the extra time on your covering job. How do you like the way she flys? Have you put any more flights on it yet?

Been flying it for about a month now....and have guys lining up to fly it! It is a lot of fun and because it is flying so slow, you can do things LOW and Close Sometimes it 'invents' a maneuver all by itself when you just bang the sticks....

Received the 4D Delux for the YS last week, just starting the build. I hope to have it ready for my trip to Florida at the end of the month.

Hey BiplaneCrasher and gstrato79 give us a flight report when you get yours in the air. Jerry I know what you mean about flying slow.I have been flying mine to. I put 60 to 70 % expo on everything on high rates to soften the sticks around center. And likeing it more and more.
