I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just won a in box kit of this off ebay, will be posting a build soon, but would like another if anyone has a kit they would like to sell

Got to tell you that Berkley boxes held lots of dreams inside but also a lot of nightmares. Kits were probably described accurately as the best box of plans that money could buy.
Most of the C/l scale stuff was really marginal in flying ability. I can truthfully say that a lot of the 15 sized scale jobs that I had flew on the motor and you had better be one foot of the ground or less when the motor quit. Effinger kept cheapening the kits to hold the price down and quality was not a term associated with Berkley in it's later years. Plywood was generally a cheap grade of luan and balsa was really bad.
That said if your going to be converting this to R/C it will be a difficult redesign but we all would love to hear how it turns out.

no r/c was thinking on detailing it out and using 4 "os" c/l engines with scale 3 blade props to fly it control line afew times then make her a hanger queen, any thoughts?
