Montague,
I test flew the cobra shown in the pictures above! It flew awsome. I got in two flights before the muffler fell off. Then i got in two more flight without the muffler(its not needed with a pressure bladder). Without the muffler it flew a little tail heavy, i had to give up elevator trim and force the nose down for landing. It appears that the aileron servos could be moved forward 1 inch and the elevator servos could be moved forward two inches. This coupled with my micro throttle servo and lighter motor mount explains my long tongue. I will probably leave it this way since it would be a real pain to move the servos.

Cool.

Yeah, I wouldn't move the servos either. Way too much work, and weakening of the structure. Just something to keep in mind when you build the next one.

Cobra's are good planes, and it sure is fun cutting them.

Buy an Avenger!!!!!! There's no substitute for the best. Multiple National Championships can't go wrong. Nuff said.

After 10+ flights I must say that a properly balenced Lee Little Cobra is awsome! It was twice as fast and twice as nimble as my H.O.R. with the same engine and radio.

I thought the bladder would be a pain, but the opposite is true, the bladder was easy to set up and the plane flew great!

I practiced combat against some pegions and after a 20 minute dogfight the pigeons went into there cage and did not come out for over an hour.

I wonder is a pegion could fly with a 30' streamer attached?

i've heard how sum u dese combaters fly, so hide out on the downwin en of da field....be patient then run fast! you'd be suprised how many planes you'll git!

really though going to your nearest combat site will gain you a ton of info and seeing them fly is allways a hoot! finding out what planes are being used locally is a good idea as well.
