Jupp...

I'm pertty new at this, and was stupid enough tio belive that all recivers could be used, only the freq. was the same for the transmitter.

Guess I'm wrong, and I won't be able to use Futaba's Rx.

I'm planing on using a JR X-3810.

Please help me out, is there another brand that can be used, or does it have to be JR?

JR and Airtronics receivers can be used as they are positive shift. Some other brands may be used if they can be set to positive shift.

So it is not possible to select shift in the transmitter?

Think that at least Hitec Eclipse 7 is able to do this and it is a much cheaper transmitter.

Does this mean I won't be able to use the cheap recivers from GWS, Robbe, etc?

How about the Xtals in the transmitter, only JR or could I use some other brand?

help is very welcome

Am I wrong, but I thought that North America was the only place where Futaba and Hitech went to a different shift. I thought in Europe the radio manufacturers kept their senses and had the same shift for all radios. Naturally you can't use a PCM receiver across brands, but all the FM PPM's should work.

In NA, the ham freqs are like Europe and I have a couple of Futaba receivers on 6 meters and I fly with my JR 8103 (3810 in Europe).
