Hi,
I have been flying my Jabo 2 for about 3 weeks now. One tail motor burnt out, drive pin broke, flybar snapped in two, and a couple 30+ foot crashes later, SHE STILL ROCKS!
Anways, I am wanting to either get a 2nd heli, or upgrade my Jabo.
I was thinking about a Piccolo or a Hummingbird kit with everything in the package.
If I were to upgrade my Jabo 2, what should I get to make it fly better? I have heatsinks, and that's about it. I was thinking something along the lines of motors, and electronics upgraded, but I'm not sure what to do.
Any suggestions and links are appreciated.

not the best pic in the world but I had just got it together so its messy.
I have the following that has been added:
1- g-10 landing gear/with room for chips ~$30
2- 4ch reciever ~$23
3- lithium pack/2 cell 2100mah ~$70 you can get cheaper though
4- Pixi 20p for main motor ~$35
5- Pixi 7p for tail motor ~$32
6- transmitter that wasnt pcm ~$30
7- servos 6grams each 2@12.99 each
8- Direct drive tail ~$10
9- Anti rotation arm ~$10
10- Like 90 blades ~$22
11- Bell-hiller mixer ~$25
12- Heading hold gyro ~$90
13- inline fuse to protect the money lol ~$5
14- johnson 250 motor ~$10
15- servo extention arms ~$15

I think this is all I added besides heat sinks....It is alot and it takes time to do. I love doing that sort a thing though. If you end up doing something like this let me know and I can help you all the way through this transfer. I know what it is like wanting to upgrade the jabo becouse it is kinda limited.

That sounds like something I wanna do. A few things I would take out for right now are the Lithium Pack, Like90 Blades, Transmitter, Gyro, and maybe the inline fuse, although I'm not sure what that is. That loks like alot of money to put into the helicopter, and I could just get a hummingbird for that price just about. But I think I may stick with my Jabo, if you have AIM my screen name is walty609.
Peace and Thanks

Why not get a collective pitch helicopter?

the transmitter is the only thing that you cant take out......the reason being is becouse the one that comes with the jabo is pcm. It will not work with anything but a pcm board like your jabo has. Thats why I had to get one.

Oh, I see, I thought PCM was a better frequency though, but I guess more expensive on the other hand too. NO collective pitch because thats crazy hard, and I don't think I am interested in flying 3D at the moment, I havn't even mastered flying 2d lol. Justin I'm trying to talk to you on AIm right now
