Hi guys, hope you can help me, once i start my car the engine gets up to temperature about 215f and idles perfectly, when i start driving it around if i give it full throttle it bogs down and will sometimes cut out, am i running too rich or too lean on the HSN. Or is it anything to do with the LSN. i am still a bit of a newbie, all advice will be appreciated

Your HSN is a little too rich. Make your adjustments in 1/8 of turns clockwise. Also make sure the engine is at operating temps before making adjustments. Tuning a cold engine can be frustrating.

With dish soap and water. Make sure it is thoroughly clean and apply some air filter oil to the foam so that it covers the whole area. Slightly squeeze out the excess (not too much) and re-install it on the carb. I recommend doing this after every run for optimal performance. Some people don't, but I do. Sort of like after run oil. Do it after every time you finish running. Tip for newbies: It is also a good idea to leave the piston at bottom dead center after each run, it will help prolong compression in your engine. Mark your flywheel accordingly to save yourself time. Hope this helps

I will pop down to my LHS and pick up some after run oil and filter oil later, am i right in saying you put just a couple of drops of after run oil in through the glow plug hole and then turn the flywheel by hand a couple of times leaving the piston at bottom dead centre

yeah, i also drip a few drops into the open carb (after removing the air filter obviously) to lube the crank shaft, after dripping it in just pull the starter chord a few times or turn the engine over with your starter box for a seccond or so, temp wise with your engine you want to be aiming for around 250 degrees, how are you measuring your engines temp?
