Status: offline 		I AM TRYING TO TEACH MY DAD TO FLY AND HE WADDED MY TRUSTY LT-40 UP AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK SO I WAS THINKING OF ORDERING THE APACHE FROM RICHMOND RC BUT HEARD SOME BAD STUFF ABOUT THEM AND THEIR PLANES ANY HELP ON THIS GOOD OR BAD WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

the frontier 40 trainer is great for $99 or for alittle more aerobatic try the world star 40 these are both great flying planes for the money

Status: offline 		THANK YOU FOR THE IMPUT I THINK I MIGHT HAVE LOCATED ANOTHER ARF FROM A STORE CLOSEOUT FOR $110.00 WHICH ISNT BAD ATLEAST ILL KNOW WHAT IM GETTING THE RICHMOND RC PEOPLE HAVE MADE ALOT OF ENEMIES IT SEEMS

Status: offline 		sorry i am not up with what all the capitol letters and all mean very little typing skills but i didnt mean to shout thank you for the info i will def. check it out my brother has there trainer and it has took a pretty good beating three people has learned on it and it is still flying

Why can't people just answer the question?
The man didn't ask for another option.

I had an Apache III and still have my LT40. IMO, there is no comparison between the higher quality, stronger durability, better worksmanship, and ease of build of the LT40. The only thing that the Apache III has going for it is the price.... but even it isn't much cheaper especially after you add in shipping from Richmond RC. Plus Richmond RC have the worst customer service.

Between these two planes, DEFINITELY buy the LT40.

Status: offline 		thank you so much for the answer that seals the deal im ordering another lt-40 i found a very good deal on one anyway they havea few other planes left if you are interested at tjtoad.com he is getting out of planes all together has han 9 and sigs some kits some arf

Status: offline 		How would anyone even dare to compare a high quality SIG plane with a Vmar (plane )? Go with the LT.

Status: offline 		I think your better to try to find the Kadet lt-40 , this trainer fly like a dream and very good quality of wood and construction and I know another nice flyer trainer Alpha 40 made by Hangar 9
