Sir,
any information you may have would be great. I haven't figured out what this wing is from, but it's a pattern style airfoil and I'm pretty sure i can build a fuse around it. thanks again

Send an e-mail or call Dan Gipe at Wing Mfg, (I don't know the address off the top of my head). They are going to produce a foam/glass version of both the Phoenix 5 & 6---in fact, Dan flew the prototype at the BPA contest in Huntsville last August.

I have just acquired an original Phoenix 8 kit in the original box. The packing is of old newspapers dated 1985. The owner does not know what to charge me and I have no idea what it is worth. Does anyone know its value?

One time, years ago a lawyer friend/car collector told me that anything that isn't in current production... "is worth whatever you can get for it". Current limited production kits of similar old style pattern planes go for around $150 (wood) or so on up to $275 (glass/foam or ARF) or so. Some out of production kits sell for $300+ on eBay. I recently bought a nice o.o.p. pattern kit for $100.

Wing Mfg.

try: www.wingmfg.com Go to a search engine, type in Wing Manufacturing, should bring up site you need.

The Phoenix V is selling for $175.00 - $195.00 + postage, price in that range. The address I have listed, will work. The P-8 is also being kitted, I forget the address, somewhere in NC. Here it is: www.aztecair.net
