Hi all. I think I mentioned this before, but if interested in more gear, I expect to have some "on the shelf" in about 4-6 weeks. If interested in being notified, email me & I will put you on the list. No money, just an indication that you want to know about them. Lee

Damn!! I just got another email from Gary Ernst at Robarts, and they are NOT able to ship kits as yet, because of supplier problems with the valve parts! I'll be talking to him again early next week. And no--I'm NOT pulling anybodys' leg! My Corsair is almost complete, and I don't have the valve & stuff for it!! Lee

Hello all. I have both good news and sad news. The good news is that Robart has started shipping backorders on air kits, and other things. I don't know when mine goes out, but I usually get a note at shipping. Probably within a week. The sad news is that my sister, whom I think I had mentioned being under Hospice care, passed away peacefully at 3:05 pm today. So I may be erratic in responding to emails for 3 or 4 days. Lee

Hi guys, does anyone have pictures of these in a TF Corsair, I'm dremeling away and have to go almost through the main spar with that manly air cylinder on it. How did you do with them?

You can cut almost all the way thru the spar. When you install the landing gear the housing and the four fasteners will bridge the same as the spar. You can view some photos in Robinaires galley that show this.

Hope this helps.

Hello all. It's been a while, but I'm back. I got word from Robart, I guess more than a month ago, that they had stock to ship But in the meantime, I ended up with more than $600. in meds , scans and Dr. for Kay, and simply did have enough to tell him to ship.I'm so sorry, and I hate having these delays. I think you must all be ready to feed me to the "Gators. (They would probably spit me back!) But I'm pretty sure I'll have things moving in about 2 weeks. Also, I just had Comcast hi-speed hooked up last Sat. at 9:23 AM. It just started working TODAY about an hour ago! After many hours online with them over the weekend, they finally sent a tech here, and it took him about 30-40 minutes, working with his HQ, to finally get it straightened out! It kept telling people that I was "not our customer"!! I'm getting this for the same price I was paying for the miserable dialup bellsouth system! I think I spent half of my online time just waiting!! I'm continueing to work at getting on-the-shelf stock, not only for the rotators ( an improved version) but a stock of some of my accessories, such as canopy track, minicylinders, AIRPIN on-board pressure indicator, and propnut/spinner attach extensions which are propnut, front washer and attach extension machined in one piece. (See Platt Plans, he's had them there for years!) These, however, cannot be "stocked", as they are custom fit to plane/engine combos. I'll have some additional news in a few weeks. The new comcast address is robinairerc@comcast.net. Both old and new will continue working for about a month, until I can get the word out. Lee

Glad to hear that you are up and going again Lee! I think you will like the hi speed setup vs the crappy dial up system. Good to hear from you again. Hello to Kay too for me.

Thanks, John, from Kay as well as me. Sometimes it gets a bit disheartening, but, believe it or not, in spite of the problems, this whole rotator project actually helped me handle some of the other things! It was a "mental strain" of a productive nature! Lee

Hello all. After another hour on the phone with still another tech, my new comcast hi-speed appears to be working! I got several test messages from John McGowan, and they came through fine. A few of you might send me a short note, just to besure all is working!! Thanks. Whoops! Just got a call from a cusromer from about 7 or 8 years ago, about 3 BIG projects, 144' jobs! No rest for the wicked!! Lee

HOT DAWG!!! i My goodies should be shipped from Robart Monday --whoops! holiday: Tuesday, and with any luck I may get them Friday. I don't think UPS delivers on Sat. except for specials. So I will be boxing stuff up and getting them out the door as quickly as possible! Been an excruciatingly long time, but the end is in sight! Will have some news sometime next month. In case it didn't get through to everyone, my new hi-speed is robinairerc@comcast.net, and the old dial-up, robinairerc@bellsouth.net, will be no more after 11/15. A new website is under construction and the initial (I think they call it beta test) may be on by end of month. Will let each know when yours kit goes out the door!! Update on Kay; Has an appointment with neurosurgeon next week, to see if a bad disc is causing her neck pain, and may even be affecting her migraines. A new combination of meds sems to be reducing them somewhat, but it will probably take at least another month to truly evaluate them. Lee
