Hi guys ,I need to know which muffler you are using for a G-26 in a Hangar 9 Super Cub. need this infomation as soon as possible . Thanks Jerry

I have seen both the Abell inverted (much like the B&B) and Slimline pitts used. Both work well but I think the pitts looks better because it exits the cowl behind the engine.

I am using the slimline pitts muffler ( have no yet installed the cowl ), but I did need to cut the excess balsa to get this muffler installed inside the engine compartment., whhich is not a big deal, just dremel the flange wood.

I use a pitts style muffler from http://www.wackerengines.com/

I believe I paid $28 shipped to my door.

RPM increased from 8000 to 9000 with an APC 18x6.

Be aware - sound increased quite a bit. If you fly where noise may be a problem, this won't gain any friends.

The pipes are threaded - makes for less cutting of cowl.
