Hello people
i am thinking about maybe getting back into helis seeing as i think i will be able to fly it this tyme around. You may be saying if he couldnt fly it then what makes now diffrent well this tyme round i wont just take it out the box put the battery on charge and hit throttle i will actually set it up on the ground get the centre of gravity wright and all of that stuff .
i had some really bad experiences with the aerohawk and when i finallf did all of the setup around 6 months later and evrything just wright and i was starting to do really good hovers but then my gyro goes so i scrap the thing take the servos and evrything else out and put it in my new electric plane.i am a established fixed wing pilot and will be able to fly a heli but i want one with a seprate gyro so it wont blow or anything and maybe a little bit bigger than a piccol or the smartech.
can anyone help me
thanks alot Zeeshan

The Jabos not bad, I have found IMO the 2004 Mini Dragonfly is awesome get the gear drive with the EM150 motor all the parts are replaceable and very cheap you can find all hop ups for them at some various aftermarket websites. if you get really good at it you can even get an upgrade to turn it from a fixed pitch to a collective pitch. I have never flown a heli in my life and I am a seasoned fixed wing piliot. Over 10 yrs experience and I had this thing up an hovering in 1 day. You need to take some time to balance it and some minor set up features and then seat the motor brushes with about a 6 minute run in at like 1/4 to 1/2 throttle and then you are off. The only upgrade I would do immediatly would be to throw away the battery they give you and buy a 7.4V 1400 MAH Lipo. Its well worth the money and saves tons of aggrivation when people think their heli is acting up and the settings are fouling its nore than likley the battery losing juice. The supplied 730 MAh NiMh doesnt cut it in the least they claim 6 mins but its more like 4 and in a hover draws juice like a demon. I know its a bit more than you are looking to spend but for longevity and durablity you cannot beat it. I literally have hammered away at mine crashing into everything and it flys beautiful. I have replaced some parts but nothing out of the ordinary. Main blades tail blades landing skids and flybar. All in all about $20 U.S. for my replacement parts. Good Luck Hope this helps

I completely understand just remember one thing they sell the GWS version of the mini Dragonfly in many different aspects. You can get it w or without a tx as a kit to build or RTF out of the box. But as a suggestion remember you get what you pay for. I have done extensive research on the internet to not only find the best deals but to get the best for my money and i have found this to be it. There have been some conflicting posts on the other types of micro helis that people cannot even get them off the ground due to the poor quality in design and or build. Choose wisley and good luck.
