Sometimes a post -like the one from JB jr - is just plain ol BS.
In this case - I tend to believe .
The "why" is that I am familiar with the "ignition engine" made from the glow Moki .
Frankly, it was an obvious quick retrofit - - anyway I really hope Moki (or whatever it will be called ) remains a viable business - I hate to see quality shops fail due to some changes in monetary exchange etc..
It is true - the newest small gassers are lighter and do work extremely well in this size glow engine.
Also they run as smooth as glass at idle thru full speed.
I am personally running a 25cc gasser which is smoother than glow engines and turns a 17x6 APC 3Dprop at 9500 on a Ed Skorpa 3 ounce pipe!
This is the type competition that has hit the big glow engines.

Yes, I posted it but as I said in my post, I was posting for someone else. I myself do not know what the whole story is. I probably should've opened a new member account for my father so he could post it. Just clearing that up. thx.

Gary:

Remember, no matter how much fraternal fighting is going on, the Moki engine is still the same. Very seldom are any parts needed until they are very high time, get one and enjoy 5-10 years of good service while the others squabble.

If you need a part then and can't get it, well, the engine has paid for itself by that time anyway.

Bill.

Yeah I'm with Bill. Everybody can bail if they want but not me. I love this engine and I will buy more. And I will keep all of them running no problemo.

All it takes is one bad business decision to ruin a good company.

When will these MBA types's quit with their bottom line crap, and get on with good products and good distributor/customer relations.

Geeeeeezzzzzzzzz !

What a shame, if Jim Gerard loses a line that he had such a hand in promoting.
