It's balanced at the 6" mark. I'd like to get it closer to 5 1/4 or 5 1/2 mark. Has anyone flown one with the C/G back that far??? Any ideas on how to add more weight to the nose? I already have the battery pack under the fuel tank and the reciever as far forward as I can get it. I'd rather not think about moving the rudder servo closer to the front.

What is the chord length of the wing? I'll calculate the CG for you if this is a constant chord wing.

The wing itself is a constant chord at 12" but with the aileron it's 17" at the widest and 16" at the smallest. The C/G has been revised on this plane anywhere from 4" to 6".

You need to find the MAC and perform the math from there to determine what percentage you want the CG to be. I will assume that setting the CG at 6" will probally be at 33%-36%. Great settings for 3D flying. My Banchee 3D is set at 34%.

I don't know how you guys get your cg back so far with out adding weight. I have an O.S. 91 (although you guys could have 70's in them)surpass in it. I had to take the covering off and but the battery back by the servos and everything else is as far back as I can get them under the wing. I also have about 1lb. of weight in the back. I don't know where my cg is currently but im guessing at about 4.5in. back.

Any suggestions?

I am running a Super Tigre G51 2Stroke in mine and I have the engine almost to the end of the mount and it weighs 18.4 oz. I have the battery pack under the fuel tank and I still can't get enough weight up front. I did add flying wires and some extra bracing on the stab. but it wasn't that much added. What do you think with the C/G at 6", think it will be to tail heavy???

I fly mine @ 7". Flys great! TT 91 four stroke up front, waterfalls nicely.
I fly whole flights on high rate, maximum deflection, NO expo! If you fly slow enough you'll never miss it!!

Hey fearlessjoe,
If you have a 91 fs how did you get the cg so far back?
