On my CEN MT2, lately I have had a problem w/ the throttle being finicky. When I get it started, I try to give it gas and the throttle just hesitates and jerks back and forth. It will never reach full throttle and when it does it is in short bursts. It is like it is twitching. I have replaced the batteries in the truck and controller, and have a fail safe on the truck. I have tried it w/ and w/out the failsafe w/ no change. I changed out the steering servo, but that shouldn't affect the throttle. I don't know what is wrong, since the truck is fairly new.

Any help or ideas will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Branndon

Brandon,

On the throttle arm for the carburater there are two holes in which you can mount the linkage to. If you put the linkage into the lower hole, you will get more throw... which will make it hit full throttle easier. After doing so you will have to re-set the endpoint adjustments on your radio however. Also, make sure that your radio is set to the 7:3 ratio, this works much better for gas applications. If you have any more questions you can email customerservice@cenracing.com or give us a call, and one of our technicians will be happy to help you out. Thanks Brandon.

no, it isn't the mechanical setup, it is something electronic i think, because the servo is going nuts.

Check your crystals, make sure they are presses all the way in and while your at it double check the plugs going into the reciever.
