The_Mongrel,, Thankyou for that advise,You are right about the way the planes fly,i took the Red arrow out for a flight today,The weather was perfect The work i did on the plane helped a more stable flight,I thought about adding more weight to the front and decided against the idea,As i thought when i slow down, it would be much harder to land. With my maiden flight the plane wasn't really setup right,But you have to fly it for the first time to know if it has any problems,Which it did. Before i flew her,I made sure i added a little down thrust on the tail and whilst flying i had to trim almost to the top,So i think i'll add a little more down thrust before i fly next,But it flew well. For my second flight i was much happier flying it,it did what i wanted it to do and a good range since i changed the Receiver . Jumpmonkey,,,, You wanted me to review the red arrow,Well here goes,,,, Bare in mind that i have changed the ESC to 40 amps and using 2200mAh 11.1v 3 cell 20c instead of(stock)1800mAh 11.1v 3cell 12c Take off was great and stable. The flight was very precise and stable-reacted how you wanted it to do,(quite a nice speed too) The line up for landing, responsive-flew steady at low altitude. The landing,Difficult-As the plane is very close to the ground because the landing gear is so short,And when landing, the plane is moving quite fast,When i come in to land everything was going well, just a couple feet off the ground, the plane bounced on the tarmac and went back up in the air about 3 feet and did a little cart wheel when it come back down it was going to slow to gain control, there wasn't much damage at all the nose come off and a little scuff on the tip of the wing and the tyre come off and started rolling to me,lol,,had to stop in with my foot. So once the landing is mastered the plane is a real nice plane to fly and very scale looking in the air too.
