bob27s -> Sport Jett 46 prop (8/6/2002 5:14:17 PM)

Hi Mike..... there are a variety of combinations you can try. I would say to start with a standard APC 9x7, and perhaps then try an 8.8x8.5 pylon prop or the 8.75x9W. Try and keep the SJ-46 engine in the 17K rpm (peak, on the ground) range... or slightly above. You can keep adding pitch as long as you stay in that rpm range. Another prop that works pretty well is the 8.5x7.25 pylon prop. The engine will really turn that sucker, and it will unload big time in the air. You may also want to post the question in the Extream Speed forum. There is quite a bit of experience in there http://www.rcuniverse.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=162 I trust this will be helpful. Bob
