Welcome back to the hobby.

It might be worth while finding someone to stand next to you during the first couple of flights, until you get your "thumbs" back.

Status: offline 		I just might do that, get someone to be there for the first flight. I guess you never know what can happen. I just bought an old sport pattern plane Thats already built called a "Corvette". It might date back 10 or 15 years. Anyone ever heard of it???

Status: offline 		Back when I use to fly, you built everything that you flew. The ARF's were just becoming popular but they were not of very good quality. I have been out to the local club and flew a few planes of some old friends and it feels pretty good. Going to take my new U-CAN-DO .46 out next Saturday and fly it for the first time. I can't wait. I have to wait until after October 1st or I will have to pay the AMA dues and the club dues again for next year. If I wait until after the 1st I'm good for the rest of this year and all of next year. I can wait...the money I save can buy some more goodies for the hobby .
