Would like to put in a good word for the folks at Cockpit Master. I've had their software (and interface cord) for about 6 months. Have been pleased with it. Especially the ability to download new planes as they are offered, free. Had one small problem--the interface cord wires came loose at one end and, of course, no workie! Tried to resolder but no luck. Emailed the customer service address with my story asking how much for a new cord. Immediate response--send the old one and it will be replaced free. Sent it with a check for $3.50 to cover priority mail, the least I could do I thought. New one back in about 4 days and the check was returned to me. That is geat service. Regards.

I have CockpitMaster as well, running on a Windows 2000 laptop using an RCJoy from Lew Engineering to allow me to use my Futaba Tx through the buddy port into the USB port on my laptop.

The reason I bought CockpitMaster over Realflight G2 is for the ability to run it on my laptop.

I travel for business a lot and being able to practice R/C in my hotel room at night was a real bonus for me.

My understanding is that Realflight G2 will not run on a laptop as it needs a high spec. 3D video card.

One downside of CockpitMaster is that some of the models need some parameters adjusted to make them fly more realistic.

The Multiplex models seem to be right on the money, but I know I had to modify the LT-40 to make it fly like my real LT-40.

I am using it to teach my son and needed to remove a lot of dihedral out of the wing setup.

Hope this helps.
