How do you like the zdz210, what mufflers are you using. Interest in this engine for a 40% yak.

Using headers and JB cannisters from RCShowcase. 3 blade Mejzlik 32x12 new style blade developed specifically for 210. Never had a problem. Best engine I ever ran. Oh, quiet as can be!!! I am not joking to say that some electrics at our field are louder!!!!!!!!! Power is great.

Is your velox from a aerotech kit. Ordered a 40% yak from them they said they are using a 3w 200 QQ in it. Was going to use a da 150 but may lack some power, as this plane may come in a bit over 40 lbs. By the way great smoke shot!

Hello,

I have both the 35% Velox and 42% Velox and they are fantastic planes. More people are seeing this everyday. I see posts about the plane and nothing but good stuff. I can't speak for the krill other than I know its bigger than Aerotech and alot more expensive. If you ever want a plane that will give you the WOW factor this is it. Also Im on the list for a 40% Yak also from Aerotech on the december run.

Thanks

Dave Miller P.A.

Sebastiano Silvestri said it is the best compromise between pattern and 3D flying in an aircraft to date. He is currently developing a Katana with Krill. The Velox builds a little nose heavy so keep things back.

Hi Lazun,

The RCS velox looks fantastic these days. Its great to see it flying again.

I have put a picture below of the new Krill Katana which I am starting to take orders for. Seba plans to be at the master with the new Katana.

Kind Regards, John.

The manufacturing of these kits are simply amazing. It will blow anything away when you see the quality. Krill is a legend in the composite business, mostly industrial stuff. The model plant is a thing on the side for him. His kits are light and super strong. Look at the ratio of carbon and kevlar in his kits. I know it is not a judgment of strength, but his designs are well thought out. How often do you here of a Composite-ARF falling apart!!! I here it a lot and have seen it a lot!!! Five times!!! And I am tired of hearing that people are not flying them correctly. If you cannot fly these things around and ring them out the plane is simply not built strong enough. Could you imagine Tucker worrying about his equipment? Sebastiano rung the Velox out at the TOC in Europe and you would cringe. Solid as a rock!!!

Hello,

I have the 35% velox from Aerotech. I have had it 2 1/2 years with over 300 flights. This is a great design from them. Mine has a 3W106 now with cans with Duralites at 27lbs I have unlimited vertical. Can't go wrong with this plane.

Later

Ted

My wife designed the tears and all the accents. If you look closely you can see she named the plane appropriately: "Insanity"
