i think they do, cause they make decent stuff for the price. So i think they should make their cars just a little more expensive and fix all the common problems and that would boost up their sales and then more parts would be available etc. Could work....

Got my winner two on last wednesday but i was in denver but i got at it yesterday and everything looked like a quality r/c car like an expensive gas rct3 maybe i was looking at in denver (quality wise) except for a couple of screws i had to snug up on the rear a-arms. I was a bit sceptical but when i got home i had some 15% nitro plane fuel so i put the two together and on the 3rd pull out of the box the car fired to life. I was suprised that i didnt have to mess with the needles to get it to start. So i ran 1&1/2 tanks thruogh it at idle. then i put a little more in it to see if it would start again and on the first pull this time it went. I love this car.

I do have one question though. How do you guys charge your cars? I bought some energizer rechargable batteries and i dont know where to get a charger. I dont want to take all the batteries out of it everytime i need them charged. Does anybody make a charger for the smartech reciver pack and transmitter i saw that there was a charging jack. Any ideas?

Also this thing dosent miss a beat but idles high and runs real rich. Like i can take the car and turn it on its side and the muffler is pretty full and fuel and oil pours out of the spout on the muffler. Also when the car runs it spits raw fuel out of the muffler too. But i think i have to break it in rich dont i? Any ideas on idle though? The throttle dosent look like it is open enough for that amount of rpms. At idle, i can set it on the ground and the car will run away.

I had the same impression : that idle rpm is too high; I finally managed to set it so that the car won't move, but it sometimes stalls when i brake or runs idle for a longer period of time. I have no idea of how to fix it, but if someone has an idea, I'll appreciate it.

Now that I think of it, maybe the spring that holds the clutch is too loose., and it allows it to move at lower RPM ?

hmm i dont know i just started it and let it idle with no radio or TX because of no charged batteries. So do you know how to charge the batteries without taking them out every time? Do they make a charger for the smartechs? Eventually im getting an airtronics radio but until then i need to know if smartech makes a charger for its product.

I have no idea; I haven't seen any charger for smartech. I use plain batteries every time, and it's working fine.
Maybe you should start the controller when running the car. I have noticed that, if I start the car receiver first (without controller), the servos keep moving, as if they were connected to the controller. And another thing I noticed is that if the controller antenna is not fully extended, the car receiver sometimes behaves erratically.
