I'd love to, but I can't : there is no paypal service for Romania ... And I have quite some trouble getting spares, as there are very few online stores that accept VISA and international shipping to Romania.

Hi all, I'm new to this hobby. I just bought a new smartech magic wheel from e-bay because it's half the price from what I can buy here and for a first one, I'm really satisfied. When I bought my gas, the hobby shop salesman said smartech was crap, the motor will not run, air hole isn't bored, no aftermarket pieces are available, etc... Well now I'm sure he knows nothing about smartech except rumours.

There is a lot of snow here but I don't care. My car runned very fine and was easy to tune. After 3 tank and some tunning, the engine is more powerfull than I thinked.

Hi. I'm glad you liked it. I've neaver heard about that model, but it looks really nice. i have an on road one. Good quality but i am new to this so i have trouble tuning it. But with time it'll get better. Its winter over here, so i packed it up ready for next spring.

Hi. Nice truck ! Hope you enjoy it.
Have you tried it in snow yet ? I have just bought some monster tires and I'm going to try'em on snow as soon as I can fit'em to my buggy and starts showing here.

Hi everyone.
I have a quick question, and I hope someone might help me out here : the clutch inside the two speed transmission seems to wear out. I have tried to find a spare, but none is available on rcmart from smartech. I have found this one though : Thunder Tiger (#PD1440) 2 SPD Clutch Hub For MTA4/M.GT (http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=595_426_539_578&products_id=8441).

Does anyone know if it fits the Smartech two speed transmission, 'cause I'd hate to have to buy the whole assembly just to replace the clutch ?

Thanx.

I tried it in the snow and that's crazy. These tires are good in the snow. But I was careful because nothing is protected against the water/snow yet. The only modification I made is remove the tank primer.

Sorry I can't help you for your problem.

They're not that bad for the money you spend, if you can get access to a spare part supplier. I had some pretty bad crashes, and broke not many parts.

The only bad thing about getting a great deal on a R/C car/truck/buggy with a limited following is that when you break parts you're going to have a hard time finding replacements. I had a 1/8 scale nitro buggy back in the late 80's that was being imported by a local hobby shop here in Brentwood, Tennessee. The buggy was awesome and this was back in the day when everyone was saying that nitro power would never work on a car/truck/buggy and that we should be running electric instead. I thrashed my Hunter for about 3 years and then one day the hobby shop got a new manager that only liked planes so he discontinued everything else. Now I have a cool buggy that I'm afraid to run because I can no longer get parts
