I have an ultimate question for you all. Would you guys buy a well hopped up Smartech? Doesnt matter which model, but with upgrades such as tires, suspension, engine, and exhaust?

Had the same problem, but I was able to set it apart and clean the bell housing, since I couldn't find a spare one. I've restored the clutch bell, and now it's running fine.

i noticed the suspension is too soft on the smartech buggy. What other suspension will fit the car? Or adjustments can be added (o-ring types)?

I don't know. I have solved this problem by adding some metal discs that compress some more the springs. You can also use smartech part #083125 (see previous posts by hardtech).

One other thing : I have attached the dampers to another position on the lower suspension arm, too.

I think you're running too lean. Try adjusting the carburetor.

I got one of the on-road smartech cars off EBAY for Christmas. It has been running great strait out of the box, except for a bad glow plug after the first start. It had a busted exhaust gasket and it threw oil all over the car so I took it apart to clean it and then put it back together, now I have one problem. The RF and the LR are always on the ground and the RR and the LF are off the ground. I cannot figure out why the LF and the RR will not stay on the ground. does anybody have any suggestions for my problem?
