Tom: Thank you for the complement On this canopy I used auto bumper primer as a base with about three coats and some fine sanding between each coat of primer, then I fallow that up with A polyurethane paint. I use the same steps for the paint as well with sanding between coats wich helps to get that super shiny finish, the shiny finish is clear coat and the less it has to fill the better it will look. I also put on the decals befor I clear coated it. Your right the stock canopy is hard to get paint to stick to, but the rubberized bumper primer works well with this material. I've heard of guys baking the paint on to get a better bond and all sorts of other tricks but this works good for myself and is fuel proof. Heli on, Shannon
