hey i was just wondering how long it took you to get into 3-d. From the time you started on your trainer to the first time you torque rolled, how long was that. After 6th months of flying, today was truly my first day i guess. I HAD a profile extreme 330 that i bought used and i was doin hovers and torque rolls( not very pretty ones because it was windy). It was my second day with this airplane i had finally got the engine tweaked when i had a mid-air collision. Now the only plane i have left to fly ( it needs a little repair after it tip stalled on landing today) is a 1/4 scale edge 540 ( its the same one as my avatar). Hope i can learn 3d on it, i wont be brave enough to hover it 4 feet off the ground......at first!!

hope you find time to read this!

14 year olds and rc planes are never a good combination.

3D didnt come along until after i had been flying for about 20 years so I cant really answer that one <G> as for the edge, i am sure you will do just fine with it. They are good 3D planes. Keep me posted on the progress
